A 0.20 mm nylon line; a thin needle; scissors; cords for hanging; needle-nose and flat-nose pliers

Procedure

Step 1

String 6x C1. Thread the line through one more time. Tighten it. Tie it off with two knots. Pull the ends of the lines into the holes and cut them off.

String 1 new C1 into each gap. Tighten the stringing, tie it off and finish.

String 1 C2 into each gap between the C1. Tighten the stringing, tie it off and finish.

String 1 new C2 into each of the gaps between the C2. Tighten the stringing, tie it off and finish.

String 1 new C2 into the gaps between the C2. Tighten the stringing, tie it off and finish.

String 1 C1 into each gap between the C2. Tighten the stringing, tie it off and finish.

Thread the line through the second holes of the C1. Tighten the stringing, tie it off and finish. You can hide the ends of the line inside the hollow ball.

Cut off 15 -20 cm of cord. String 1x R onto it. Thread it through the openings in the sewn ball. Tie off the ends. Place the knot inside the hollow ball.

The 2x spiral

Start creating the spiral in Step 1. String every third C1 as a C1G. Move the C1G or the C2G to the left or right in the following steps.

The 3x spiral

Start creating the spiral in Step 1. String every second C1 as a C1G. Move the C1G or the C2G to the left or right in the following steps.

The central quatrefoil

String every second C2 in Step 3 as a C2G. String all the C2 as C2S in Step 4. Use the same procedure from Step 3 in Step 5.

You can also create a simple necklace and earring set.

The necklace

Thread the chain through the hollow centre. Attach the carabiner and the counter-ring to the ends of the chain.

 

The earrings

For the earrings, string 1x R, a ball and 1x R onto an eye pin. Create an eye from the remainder of the wire. Hang it on an earring hook.
